Laura Lee Stay Bradshaw

Acclaimed Sculptor and Painter presently residing in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Born in California, Bradshaw moved to Utah at age nineteen to attend BYU, where she completed a BFA and MFA in Art. Bradshaw teaches art at Utah Valley University. She is a mother of four children. From her domestic experience as mother and nurturer she finds artistic inspiration. She is a classical figurative artist. Themes of celebration and belief in humanity run through her work. Among her notable works are Martha Hughes Cannon, an eight-foot bronze displayed at the Utah State Capitol, Acanthus Child, a six-foot figure displayed at the University of Utah Medical Center, as well as several sculptures on display at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City.

Laura Lee’s large-scale works can be seen at the University of Utah Medical School in Salt Lake City, Utah; the School for the Deaf and Blind in Ogden, Utah; Heritage Park in Parowan, Utah; the town square in Monroe, Louisiana; the Utah State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City, Utah; Mt Rushmore Replica at Trafalga in Lehi, Utah; and the Egyptian statues at the Luxor in Las Vegas, Nevada. Smaller pieces are located at the Phillips Gallery in Salt Lake City, Utah; the Springville Museum of Art in Springville, Utah; the LDS Church Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and in the Utah Arts Council collection.
