Art is for the multi-tasker. Like any good athlete does cardio one day and aerobics the next, a professional artist often vacillates from various mediums. I work at least 8 hours a day on art. I might draw for a few hours then paint on a painting or sculpt. I typically work on at least 3 sculptures, 4 paintings, and 2 drawings at a time. I seem to work fast, yet art still takes lots of time and patience.

While I create in my studio I listen to music, sometimes download a book on tape, or most often bask in silence. Even while I take a moment to pause from doing art I rarely ever stop creating images inside my mind. I am continually processing ideas.
